The Tes SEN Show has launched Tes SEN Show Virtual, the new free-to-attend event designed to bring together education professionals, leadership teams, and SEND advocates from across the globe for shared learning and networking within the virtual space.
The most exciting parts of the Tes SEN Show
Taking place on 14 – 16 January 2021, Tes SEN Show Virtual brings together the most exciting parts of the Tes SEN Show, online! Attendees will enjoy a world-class three-stream conference programme alongside an innovative online exhibition and virtual marketplace, where dedicated exhibitors will be showcasing the latest products and services.
Seminars
Curated to help attendees deliver the SEND Code of Practice 2019: 0 – 25, the conference features 42 CPD-certified seminars with the industry’s leading experts. Topics include mental health and wellbeing, overcoming the effects of the pandemic, assistive technology, dyslexia, autism, selective mutism, sensory processing disorder, speech, language and communication needs, and much more. The Tes SEN Show Virtual programme will cater for education professionals of all levels, and attendees can join in with the discussions in real-time conference session chats, Q&As and polls.
Debates and forum sessions
There is a huge range of free-to-attend content also available for attendees. This includes two opening keynote panel debates with leading policy influencers, focusing on the government SEND review and what this means for attendees in practice. Attendees can also log in for a full day of dedicated Parent, Carer and Teacher Forum sessions, with the brand-new Parent, Carer and Teacher Forum keynote panel debate, and two days of exhibitor-led workshops.
As with a traditional ‘in-person’ event, networking is at the heart of Tes SEN Show Virtual. The online event platform, Swapcard, will enable attendees to connect and network with speakers and suppliers across all three days of the show, recommending connections using AI technology.
Best practice and new connections
Discussing his expectations for Tes SEN Show Virtual, event director Matt Govett said: “Following the tremendous response we’ve received after launching a series of webinars this year, we’re extremely excited to launch our first online show, Tes SEN Show Virtual, enabling the SEN community to come together to explore best practice and make new connections no matter where in the world you are.
Through launching a virtual show, we hope this opens the door to visitors who may not have been able to attend a ‘physical’ show and to provide exhibitors with a key opportunity to bridge the gap with the teaching profession.”
Free to attend
Tes SEN Show Virtual is free to attend. CPD-certified seminars cost £19 +VAT.
