At Autism Oxford UK Limited, our aim is to offer outstanding neurodivergent assessments, therapy services and training to all. We provide a holistic approach to meet the needs of the individual where they are now, whether that be through assessments, post-assessment support or increasing people’s knowledge through a range of training opportunities.
Who we are
We are a blended team of Peer Support Practitioners, Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Special Educational Needs Practitioners, where we use the powerful combination of lived experience with trained clinical professionals’ knowledge and expertise.
Wide range of assessments
As well as offering a range of gold-standard assessments, for example, Autism, Dyspraxia, Sensory, and Cognitive, we are excited to now also offer Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments, either independently or as a combined Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder assessment.
Not only do we offer these independent assessments direct to individuals, but we also work in partnership with NHS providers to deliver autism assessments to support them in reducing their waiting lists.
Support for individuals and families
In addition, we offer a wide range of services to support individuals, families, and their wider support network, from children and young people to adults of all ages. These services range from Autism Profiling Assessments that provide a more comprehensive understanding of your autistic profile, along with recommendations, to bespoke one-on-one support from one of our highly trained Occupational or Speech and Language Therapists regarding physical movement and communication differences.
Alternatively, you can work with one of our Peer Support Practitioners, who can provide support using their lived experience as an autistic / ADHD / neurodivergent individual, or from a parent’s perspective to offer support and advice on things that have worked for them and share strategies that have been tried and tested.
We can also provide support regarding education or employment (to both the individual and/or the organisation), or arrange a session with our Life Coach to help you gain clarity of your future goals and identify steps to help you move towards them.
Training opportunities
Moreover, we offer a range of training opportunities for individuals, family carers and organisations. These range from our online webinars covering a range of topics from just £10 per ticket, to both online and in-person training across health, social care, education and the private sector.
We provide attendees with a better understanding of neurodiverse people’s needs, along with increasing their knowledge and skills and providing resources to help them make reasonable adjustments to enable neurodiverse individuals to thrive.
We pride ourselves on offering a dynamic service and we are always exploring new service offers to meet the needs of the people who access our services.
We operate across the UK
Whilst we are based in Oxfordshire, over the past couple of years we have seen a huge demand for our services, so we now operate across the UK and have recently been commissioned by some European organisations to develop and deliver bespoke training.
Our aim is to empower every individual to reach their potential (whatever that looks like for them) and provide the knowledge, tools and resources to enable them to live a fulfilling life.
