Book now for our newly announced 2025-2026 season.
We have five new Royal Shakespeare Company Shakespeare productions: Much Ado about Nothing, The Winter’s Tale, Measure for Measure, a new 80-minute version of The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Titus Andronicus, with Simon Russell Beale in the title role.
We’ll also have a sparkling revival of W. Somerset Maugham’s The Constant Wife and the European premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning Fat Ham, joining the previously announced Hamlet Hail to the Thief and 4.48 Psychosis.
Finally, Tom Wells’ magical new adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The BFG will play in The Royal Shakespeare Theatre at Christmas – perfect for ‘chiddlers’ and their adults.
Types of adapted performances
We have Captioned, Audio Described, Chilled and Handheld Captioned performances across our productions, with Integrated BSL-interpreted performances of Titus Andronicus, Hamlet Hail to the Thief, The Winter’s Tale and The BFG.
We offer touch tours ahead of all our Audio Described performances. Supporting resources for our shows include a sonic story highlighting key sounds throughout the performance, audio notes, a Content Advisory with detailed information on the themes and content of a show, and a filmed BSL synopsis.
Access tickets are only £16, with a companion going free
Access tickets for our performances cost £16, whenever you visit and wherever you choose to sit. If you require the services of a companion, their ticket will be free.
We also have front-row seats available at every performance in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre for people who are partially sighted or hard of hearing.
If you want to visit the theatre before the event to get used to the auditorium and building, you can arrange a familiarisation visit. To organise this, please email access@rsc.org.uk or call 01789 331275.
Assistance dogs can also be taken into the auditorium, but please make the Box Office aware in advance when booking your seat. Alternatively, you can leave your dog with a member of staff in the foyer, but, again, please let us know in advance.
